Dr. ABHILASH

I am an academic and researcher with more than 23 years of experience in teaching, research, and institutional development in Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, I serve as Assistant Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus, where my focus is on modeling and simulation of discrete event dynamic systems with applications in biological pathways and computing. Over the years, I have worked with institutions such as SRM IST, ABES Engineering College, Krishna Engineering College, and MIET Meerut, taking on roles from Lecturer to Associate Professor. I have guided students, delivered 40+ expert lectures, and conducted 25+ workshops on Latex programming, simulation, and emerging technologies. Some highlights of my career include: Academic Credentials: Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering (SRM IST), M.E. from Panjab University, and B.E. from Rohilkhand University. Qualified UGC-NET multiple times and GATE with AIR under 1000. Research & Publications: 25+ papers in Springer, IEEE, SCOPUS, and WoS journals and conferences, with contributions in bioinformatics, simulation, and computing. Patents & Innovation: 5 patents (2 granted, 2 published, 1 examined) covering healthcare, trading systems, and assistive technologies. Grants & Projects: International academic grants exceeding $50 million from SIMIO LLC, USA, along with AICTE-funded projects in India. Awards: Best Faculty Awards (SRM IST, MIET), Best Paper Awards (IIT Roorkee, ICACCT), and consistent recognition for student feedback. Accreditation & Quality Assurance: Key member of the team responsible for NBA accreditation of the CSE and IT departments at MIET Meerut. At SRMIST, I am the Coordinator for Criterion 5 in NAAC accreditation and the OBE Coordinator for the Delhi NCR Campus. Faculty Development Leadership: As ICT Cell Coordinator at MIET Meerut, I organized more than 62 AICTE-approved Faculty Development Programs (online and offline). At SRMIST Delhi-NCR Campus, I coordinated 7 online AICTE-approved FDPs in collaboration with NITTTR Chandigarh. Professional Engagements: Member of ACM (USA), IE (India), IAENG (Hong Kong), and Indian Science Congress, with active collaborations across academia and industry. I bring together research, teaching, accreditation leadership, and faculty development to strengthen academic standards and contribute to institutional growth.
