Dr. Bhawna

Dr. Bhawna is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delhi, with research expertise in nanomaterials, photocatalysis, environmental chemistry, and sustainable energy applications. Her research interests include the synthesis and characterization of functionalized nanomaterials, photocatalytic hydrogen generation, environmental remediation, water purification, and the conversion of plastic and biomass waste into value-added products. She has extensive experience in advanced material characterization and analytical techniques, including PXRD, SEM, UV–Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence, and gas chromatography. Dr. Bhawna has contributed to peer-reviewed international research publications and is actively engaged in teaching, student mentoring, and interdisciplinary research focused on developing sustainable solutions to contemporary environmental and energy challenges.
