Dr. Mahesh Kumar Singh

Experienced academic leader with over 22 years of research and teaching expertise in computer Science and Engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad. Research interests span a wide range of contemporary and emerging domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Recommendation Systems, Web Mining, and Data Analytics. Published over 40 research papers, primarily as first or corresponding author, and over 133 citations (h-index: 6, i10-index: 3) in prestigious journals and conferences. Recognized as an Exceptional Contribution as a Judge in Toycathon, 2021, conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Government of India. Served as an II Level evaluator in School Innovation Marathons (SIM) held from 20th January 2025 to 28th January 2025, jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) NITI Aayog, and the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC). Served as an Academic Mentor in the Student Mentorship Program (SMP) 2024, organized by IEEE India Council Industry Academia Young Professionals Committee (IAYPC) held from 20th August 2024 to 20th December 2024. Academic service also includes key roles in NBA and NAAC accreditation activities, research and innovation leadership, faculty development programs, and student mentorship initiatives at the national level.
