Dr. Mudit Prakash Srivastava is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Delhi-NCR Campus, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has more than 18 years of teaching and research experience in the fields of Materials Science, Lattice Dynamics, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, and Optoelectronic Devices. He also has two years of industrial experience in the IT and Telecommunication sector.
Dr. Srivastava completed his M.Sc. in Physics (Electronics) from V.B.S. Purvanchal University (State Government University), Jaunpur, and received his Ph.D. in Physics from the same university in 2007, under the guidance of Prof. A. N. Pandey and Dr. K. S. Upadhyaya (BHU).
His research interests encompass crystal structure, Phonon properties, Metal oxides, Thin films, Nanomaterial synthesis, and Optoelectronic materials and devices. His research work includes the Chemical bath deposition technique, Theoretical modelling, Optoelectronic properties, Solar cells, Photodetectors, and Photoluminescence. He has experience with advanced characterization and analytical techniques, including Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and UV–Visible spectroscopy.
Dr. Srivastava was selected as a UGC Remedial Assistance Programme Fellow for undergraduate and postgraduate classes at K. N. Government P.G. College, Gyanpur, Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi), Uttar Pradesh. He is a Life Member of the Indian Physics Association (IPA), Mumbai. He was honoured with the Academic Excellence Award–2026 at SRMIST, Delhi-NCR Campus, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Srivastava has published 28 research papers in international journals, authored four book chapters, and holds two patents. He has participated in numerous national and international conferences, seminars, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, training programmes, and other scientific activities.
Dr. Srivastava is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic activities. He continues to contribute to the advancement of Materials Science, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, and Optoelectronic Materials and Devices, while also participating in various academic and social initiatives.
