About & Biography

Dr. Priyanka Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRMIST), Delhi-NCR Campus, India. She received her M.Tech. in Mobile and Pervasive Computing from Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Delhi, India, in 2016, and completed her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), India. She previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CONNECT – The Centre for Future Networks and Communications, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. During her research career, Dr. Singh also worked as a Research Intern on the project “Indoor Hybrid Flying Networks for Safety Applications and Services (FlyServ)” in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Singh has over six years of research experience in Optical Wireless Communications (OWC), with expertise in Free Space Optical (FSO) communication, Visible Light Communication (VLC), wireless and optical communication systems, and next-generation communication networks Dr. Singh has published her several research papers in reputed international IEEE Transactions/ Journals and IEEE conferences.
