Dr.Ranjana Sharma

Dr. Ranjana Sharma is an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic leader with 19+ years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in Computer Science and Engineering. She is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), NCR Campus. Previously, she served as Associate Professor at Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad (2022–2026) and as Assistant Professor at the same university (2009–2021). She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University, along with M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and MCA. Her research interests include Deep learning, Machine learning, Image processing, Remote sensing and VANET-based Intrusion Detection . She has published 20+ journal papers, 30+ conference papers, 3 books, 2 book chapters, and 3 patents, and currently supervises 5 Ph.D. scholars has successfully guided 2 M.Tech. students in their dissertation research. A recognized academic leader, Dr. Sharma has served as a Session Chair in multiple IEEE international conferences and received prestigious accolades, such as the "Excellence in Researcher Award" from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and the "National Builder Award" by the Commissioner of Moradabad and actively contributes to IEEE, CSI, SDIWC, and CSTA.
