Dr. Rupak Sharma

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus, Modinagar, with over 25 years of experience in teaching and academic activities at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My academic interests include Computer Networks, Data Communication Networks, IoT, Data Structure and Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging areas of Computer Science. My research focuses on Computer Networks, IoT, Machine Learning, Wireless Communication, and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on developing practical and innovative solutions to real-world problems. I am actively involved in research publications and Ph.D. supervision, guiding scholars in their research work and encouraging them to contribute meaningful outcomes to the field. My teaching philosophy is centered on student-oriented and outcome-based learning. I believe in connecting theoretical concepts with practical applications through examples, discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on activities. I continuously update my knowledge and teaching methodologies to support students in developing technical skills, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning capabilities.
