Dr. Shalini Sharma

I am an Associate Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, with eighteen years of enriching experience in teaching and research. Over the years, I have had several opportunities to engage with diverse areas, including Professional Communication, English Literature, Ethics and Values, Social Sciences and Humanities. I believe that education is not merely about imparting knowledge but about nurturing confidence, critical thinking, ethical awareness, and a lifelong passion for learning. My academic journey has been enriched by a strong research orientation, with nearly thirty research articles published in reputed national and international journals, along with numerous research papers presented at seminars and conferences. As a research supervisor, I am currently guiding five research scholars, and I find this responsibility both intellectually stimulating and personally rewarding. I have also actively contributed to the academic community by organizing and coordinating workshops, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), seminars, and conferences, as well as serving as a judge for various academic events and evaluating presentations and academic sessions. My active association with various professional societies has further broadened my academic perspective and professional network. I remain committed to continuous learning, meaningful research, and creating an academic environment that encourages individuals to communicate confidently, think independently, act ethically, and grow both personally and professionally.
