Dr. Uddeshaya Kumar

My research focuses on post-quantum cryptography and secure communication for emerging technologies. I focus on building lightweight, quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols suited to resource-constrained systems like IoT, Medical IoT, Vehicle-to-Grid networks, and intelligent transportation. Core areas include lattice-based cryptography, Ring-LWE, authentication and key-agreement schemes, and quantum-safe communication. I teach with a focus on conceptual clarity, active engagement, and linking theory to practice. Students grasp mathematics, computer science, and cybersecurity best when abstract ideas are grounded in intuitive examples and hands-on problem-solving.
