Ms. Vaishali Gupta

Ms. Vaishali Gupta is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Applications at SRMIST DELHI NCR CAMPUS, with teaching, research, and academic coordination experience in the field of computer science and applications. Her teaching interests include object-oriented programming using Java, machine learning, digital transformation, and related areas of computer applications. Her research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and healthcare analytics, with a particular focus on the early prediction of lifestyle-related diseases. Her professional interests are centered on AI-driven healthcare, predictive analytics, machine learning, deep learning, explainable AI, and technology-enabled solutions for real-world societal challenges, with a continued emphasis on teaching excellence, research advancement, and student development. She has actively contributed to research publications and conference proceedings, with her work presented/submitted to Scopus-indexed conferences and reputed academic venues. Her research contributions focus on developing and evaluating predictive models, identifying significant disease-related features, and exploring advanced AI methodologies for healthcare applications. Alongside teaching and research, she is actively involved in student mentoring, academic coordination, departmental activities, event management, workshops, expert talks, technical events, orientation programs, anti-ragging initiatives, and other student development activities.
