Mr. Zahid Saifi

I am Zahid Saifi, working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Delhi-NCR Campus, Modinagar, Ghaziabad – 201204. My academic and professional interests focus on teaching, research, and the development of practical engineering knowledge among students. My primary research areas are Welding and Heat Treatment, with a particular interest in welding processes, weldability, microstructural characteristics, and mechanical behaviour of engineering materials. My teaching philosophy is centered on conceptual clarity, practical learning, and active student participation. I believe engineering education should connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
