Dr. Ekta Tyagi

Dr. Ekta Tyagi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance, along with postgraduate and undergraduate qualifications in Commerce. Her teaching and research interests encompass Finance, Financial Management, Microfinance, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Financial Inclusion, and Economic Development. Her doctoral research focused on the role of microfinance institutions in the economic development of MSMEs, examining the contribution of financial services to enterprise development and economic growth. As an educator, she emphasizes conceptual clarity, experiential learning, and the practical application of management principles through case studies, interactive discussions, and real-world business examples. She is passionate about student mentoring, academic development, and fostering analytical and problem-solving skills among learners. Her academic interests include financial accessibility, entrepreneurship development, inclusive growth, and the role of financial institutions in supporting sustainable economic progress.
