Dr. Karuna Gupta

**CS (Dr.) Karuna Gupta** is an accomplished academician, researcher, finance professional and corporate governance expert with over 23 years of professional experience spanning higher education, finance, taxation, research and institutional administration. She is a Fellow Member (FCS) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), holds a Ph.D. in Commerce and Business Administration from C.C.S. University, Meerut, an MBA (Honours) in Finance from U.P.T.U., and is a Gold Medalist in M.Com. Currently serving as Associate Professor and Statutory Compliance Officer at SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Delhi NCR Campus, she brings extensive expertise in Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Banking, Insurance, Fintech, Blockchain Technology, GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance. Throughout her professional journey, she has served in reputed academic institutions, including KIET, CMD, IMS Ghaziabad and Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies, undertaking significant responsibilities in teaching, research, academic leadership and institutional administration. She has also served as Chairperson of the Modinagar Chapter of ICSI, contributing to professional development and corporate governance initiatives. Her academic contributions include research supervision, curriculum development, industry-oriented management education, publication of research papers in national and international journals, and participation in numerous academic conferences. She was an invited speaker at the ASSOCHAM 5th National Conference on Industry 4.0 and Accounting Ind AS held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. She is also associated with a published patent on a Deep Learning-Based Architecture for Diagnosing Students' Concentration Capacity during Classroom Learning. Her professional development includes the Nurturing Future Leadership Programme at IIM Shillong under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and specialised programmes at IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur and NSE.
