About & Biography

I am Dr. Tanuj Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus, Ghaziabad, with extensive teaching and research experience in Mathematics. My research interests include Fuzzy Sets and Fuzzy Information Measures, Fuzzy Decision-Making and Optimization, Inventory Models under Uncertainty, and Probability and Statistics, with a focus on developing mathematical models and computational approaches for real-world problems involving uncertainty and imprecision. My teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual clarity, active learning, analytical thinking, and practical application, encouraging students to connect mathematical theory with real-world problems and computational tools such as MATLAB and R. I strive to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that fosters students’ creativity, confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
