I am an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology with a Ph.D. and extensive experience in teaching, biomedical research, academic administration, and scientific writing. My academic and research expertise lies at the intersection of pharmacology and translational neuroscience, with a particular focus on neurodegenerative and neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and neuroinflammation. My research interests extend to the gut–brain axis, microbiota-mediated mechanisms, network pharmacology and drug repurposing. I possess hands-on experience in a wide range of preclinical research methodologies, including animal disease models, neurobehavioral studies, stereotaxic techniques, brain microdissection, histopathology, immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, and pharmacological data analysis. With more than 25 research publications, I am committed to developing research that bridges disease mechanisms with novel and translational therapeutic strategies. As an educator, I believe in making pharmacology conceptually clear, clinically relevant, and research-oriented. My teaching philosophy emphasizes active learning, critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and connecting theoretical concepts with real-world clinical and experimental applications. I strive to create an engaging learning environment that encourages students to question, explore, and independently develop scientific perspectives. Through the integration of teaching, research, and mentorship, my goal is to contribute to meaningful biomedical research while nurturing scientifically curious, ethically responsible, and competent future healthcare professionals.
