Eligibility
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, subject to the applicable admission regulations.
Admission Criteria
The admission process comprises the following stages:
Step 1: Preliminary Screening of Applications Applications will be screened to verify the candidate's educational qualifications and relevant supporting documents. Work experience is desirable but not mandatory. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and should have appeared for any one of the following nationally recognised management entrance examinations: CAT, TANCET, XAT, MAT, GMAT, NMAT, CMAT, or SRM Joint Entrance Examination – Management (SRMJEE-M).
Step 2: Evaluation of Entrance Examination Scores Scores obtained in recognised management entrance examinations will be used as an initial screening criterion for shortlisting candidates for subsequent stages of the admission process. The minimum desirable scores or percentiles specified by the University serve as screening benchmarks and do not, by themselves, guarantee admission. Final selection will take into consideration the candidate's academic profile, entrance examination performance, and performance in subsequent admission rounds. A minimum sectional score of 50% is desirable in relevant areas, such as English Language, Quantitative Techniques, and Logical Reasoning. In the absence of scores from the examinations listed above, scores from other state-level common entrance examinations may also be considered, subject to applicable admission guidelines and a minimum score of 60% in the relevant examination.
Step 3: Psychometric Assessment Candidates may be required to undergo a psychometric assessment designed to evaluate relevant abilities, competencies, aptitude, and behavioural attributes. The assessment helps the University understand candidates' strengths and developmental needs and supports their academic and professional development.
Step 4: Group Discussion / Case Discussion and Personal Interview Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in a Group Discussion (GD) or Case Discussion, followed by a Personal Interview (PI). These stages aim to assess the candidates' communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, confidence, general awareness, teamwork, leadership potential, adaptability, and decision-making skills. The Personal Interview provides an opportunity to assess the candidate's motivation, career aspirations, professional outlook, and suitability for management education. Final selection will be based on the University's applicable admission policy and overall performance across the prescribed stages.
