Ms. Nikita Garg

Nikita Garg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at SRM. Her primary research interests lie in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, and Fake News Detection, with a particular emphasis on developing intelligent and computationally efficient techniques for information credibility assessment and text classification. Her research focuses on feature selection and optimization using evolutionary algorithms and swarm intelligence techniques to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of fake news detection systems. She has been actively involved in developing theoretical frameworks and exploring computational intelligence approaches to address emerging challenges in text analytics and digital information verification. Her current research interests encompass Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Swarm Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, and intelligent text analysis. Through her research, she aims to contribute to the advancement of robust, reliable, and efficient AI-driven solutions for real-world information processing challenges.
