About & Biography

Dr. Saurabh Sharma is a Computer Science and Engineering academic with 17+ years of professional experience, including more than 15 years of teaching experience in engineering institutions and over two years of industry experience as a Linux Administrator. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Modinagar. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from SLIET Longowal, with doctoral research focused on the security aspects of the Internet of Things (IoT). His academic profile combines teaching, research, technical expertise, and industry-oriented experience. Dr. Sharma's research primarily focuses on the Internet of Things (IoT), IoT and network security, machine learning, artificial intelligence, routing algorithms, wireless sensor networks, and intelligent networked systems. Dr. Sharma's teaching philosophy can be characterized as concept-driven, application-oriented, and research-informed.
