Dr. Vaibhav Sharma is a Computer Science & Engineering academician and researcher with 12 years of teaching and academic leadership experience. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Delhi-NCR, Modinagar Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, along with an M.Tech. and B.E. in CSE. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Optimization Algorithms, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Software Engineering, with technical proficiency in Python, C/C++, TensorFlow, Keras, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related technologies. His research interests primarily focus on soft-computing-based optimization and inventory management, including the application of Genetic Algorithms and other optimization techniques. He has published and presented research papers in international conferences and journals, including SCOPUS-indexed publications. Dr. Sharma has also undertaken significant academic coordination and administrative responsibilities, including timetable, ERP, faculty workload, course allocation, examination coordination, curriculum development, and Program Leadership. He has served as a Program Head and contributed to faculty coordination, student mentoring, academic planning, and industry-academia initiatives.
