Ms. Swati Sharma

Assistant Professor in the Department of Hotel Management at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus, Ghaziabad, where she also serves as Deputy Manager – Administration and Purchase. She holds a Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) from IGNOU and a BBA in Hotel Management from Himalayan Garhwal University. Her teaching and research interests span hospitality operations, front office management and the role of emotional intelligence in financial decision-making and risk management in the hospitality industry, on which she has published in European Economic Letters (2025). Her teaching philosophy centres on joyful, experiential and skill-based learning, reflected in the Mixology and Flair Bartending workshops she has organised for students. She is a recipient of the Best Teacher Award (2024), the Global Hospitality and Tourism Leadership Award for Best Innovative Faculty – Front Office (ATITHI-2025) and the Best Performer of the Year Award (2026).
