About the ATAL FDP

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants in the field of electric vehicles and their operations. It covers the scope of applications of renewable energy in electric vehicles, battery storage systems, smart grid and hydrogen fuel cell technology.

Focus Areas

  • Electric Vehicle for Sustainable Future of the World
  • Electric Vehicle: Components and Architecture
  • EV Battery Challenges vs. Solutions and Opportunities
  • Evaluation, Simulation, and Modeling of Electric Vehicles
  • Recent Technologies in the Electric Vehicle sector
  • Overview of the Recycling Process of EV Batteries, Solar Panels and Fuel Cells
  • New opportunities in Electric Vehicles
  • Environmental Issues Related to Recycling Process of EV Batteries, Solar Panels and Fuel Cells

Outcome of the FDP

This FDP would equip the participants with a deep understanding of EV technology from its basic principles to advanced research. The participants would understand the basic operation of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and charging stations. The participants would benefit from the vast experience of the experts in the field of renewable energy and its applications in EV charging stations. Participants would also gain hands-on experience in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for EV application.
