SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Delhi-NCR Campus, Ghaziabad, celebrated World Standards Day 2026 by hosting Manak Carnival 2026 in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on 10 October 2026.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Shri B. L. Verma, whose presence added significance to the occasion. A key highlight was the MoU Signing Ceremony between SRMIST and the Bureau of Indian Standards, marking an important step towards strengthening institutional collaboration and promoting awareness of quality standards, standardization, and consumer safety among students.
The celebration featured engaging initiatives such as a Bike Rally and Helmet Bank to promote road safety and responsible practices. The event provided a meaningful platform for students to understand the importance of Indian standards in everyday life and their role in building a safer, quality-conscious, and sustainable society.
Through Manak Carnival 2026, SRMIST reaffirmed its commitment to experiential learning, industry collaboration, innovation, and social responsibility.
