Three-day workshop on Research and Funding: Proposal Writing Techniques
The Department of Chemistry, has organized a three-day workshop on "Research and Funding: Proposal Writing Techniques; from 9 th to 11 th May 2024. The resource persons Dr. S. K. Varshney, Adviser & Head, International Cooperation, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India , Dr. Meenakshi Munshi, former Adviser/Scientist G, Head of the Human Resource Development and Infrastructure Division, Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India and Dr. Pooja Devi, a principal scientist at the CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO) in Chandigarh, shared valuable insights into the process of crafting successful research proposals.
Career Development Program and Outreach Activity 28th February 2023
On February 28th, 2024, in celebration of Science Day, the Department of Chemistry at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi NCR Campus, collaborated with VedPrep to organize a Career Development Program and Outreach Activity. Dr. Khushbu Kushwaha, the Associate Editor at Chemistry Select Journal, Wiley, spoke about the career opportunities available in chemistry, including positions in publishing companies such as assistant editor, associate editor, and editor, for graduates, post-graduates, and doctorates in Chemistry. The event was attended by students from different colleges of the University of Delhi, who had the opportunity to interact with the esteemed speakers.
