Programme Overview

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a specialisation in Cloud Computing at SRM is a 4-year (8-semester) full-time programme designed to meet the rising global demand for engineers who can build, deploy, and manage applications on cloud infrastructure. The curriculum covers essential computer science methodology with a project-based approach to cloud architecture, virtualisation, containerisation, and DevOps, giving students direct, hands-on exposure to platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. It also covers cloud infrastructure design, container orchestration, serverless computing, cloud security, and CI/CD pipelines.

Apart from technical skills, the programme builds soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving through project-based learning, so graduates are proficient in designing scalable systems, troubleshooting problems, and managing deployment pipelines.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent exam from a recognised board.

  • A minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam is required.
  • For B.Tech in CSE, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12.

Entrance Examination:

  • If you have a valid JEE Main score, you can apply for direct admission. If you haven't appeared for JEE Main, you can apply through the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE), followed by a personal interview.

Admission Criteria
