Programme Overview
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a specialisation in Cyber Security at SRM is a 4-year (8-semester) full-time programme designed to address the soaring global demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals. The curriculum combines in-depth technical and practical expertise through hands-on labs, real-world projects, and industry-driven case studies, building proficiency in network defence, digital forensics, ethical hacking, SOC analysis, AI in cybersecurity, and more.
Apart from technical skills, the curriculum strengthens communication, leadership, and IT management abilities for holistic career preparedness. Students learn to identify, formulate, and solve cybersecurity problems, provide secure solutions, and design and develop cybersecurity applications of varying complexities in emerging areas of technology, engineering, and innovation.
