Yes. There is a strong emphasis on all round development of the student here at SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus. With this in mind, several Clubs & Societies have been formed such as Dance club (Axions Crew), Fashion Club (Gargoyles), Literary club (Kalamkari), Music Club (Magan), Yoga club, Technical Society (ISTE), SRM Tedx club (Dear Comerade) and SRMMUN society etc.

We have daily college buses plying in from almost all the regions of Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Meerut City. Day scholars can choose to avail these services. Apart from this metro services available till Ghaziabad.

SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus has a Medical Officer available in campus. First Aid Kit and General Medicines are always available on campus. We have an ambulance 24x7 at the campus which can take students to the nearby hospital in case of any emergencies.

Students / Parents can visit the campus on any working day (Monday to Saturday) between 9 AM – 5 PM.

Campus recruitment refers to the process whereby employers undertake an organized program of attracting and hiring students who are about to graduate from colleges, and Universities. (On-campus / Off-campus / Pool-campus). The objective of campus placement is to identify the talented and qualified students before they complete their education for Placement / Internship.

Registration: All students would have received a registration link for Superset (Placement portal) registration in their official mail ID. Enrollment:  Eligible students will enrolled by Placement Office after Registration is done.

The campus recruitment process is centralized and takes place through SRM IST, Kattankulathur, and Chennai. Some companies in the Delhi-NCR region visit the NCR campus for recruitment, so NCR students have the dual advantage of appearing in companies both at Chennai campus and NCR campus.

Normally, the campus placement season begins at the start of 7th semester. It commences in the month of July and goes on till end of the academic year.

Eligibility criteria:

  • 60% throughout. (10th , 12th / Dip , UG/PG)
  • No Standing Arrears.
  • Students with Standing Arrears (Maximum-02) will be only considered as per the company's discretion.
  • The students getting placed in Core / Dream / Super Dream / International companies will not be given LOR for higher studies.

The following are the typical stages of recruitment – elimination happens at every stage

  • Pre-placement Talk (PPT)
  • Aptitude Test / Technical Test (Online/Pen and Paper)
  • Group Discussion(GD)
  • Personal Interview (PI)
  • Technical & HR Interview (TI)

The above mentioned stages may vary as per each company recruitment pattern.

  • Consists of Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Numerical / Analytical sections.
  • Duration of the test varies from Company to Company.
  • Every company has minimum cut-off marks. (Section-wise and Overall)
  • Some companies may have negative marking also.
  • Those who clear the Aptitude test will go to the next round of the selection process.
  • GD stands for Group Discussion. GD is conducted to evaluate the students on the basis of knowledge on current affairs, communication skills, leadership qualities and group behavior.
  • Those who clear the GD will go to the next round of the selection process.

HR interviews are conducted to assess Attitude, Communication, Confidence level, Flexibility and Fitment of the candidate into the respective company culture

  • It is to assess technical knowledge of the students based on their core area of study.
  • In case a student has done any certification course, knowledge in that area will also be evaluated

Results will be declared on the same day by most of the companies, but few companies might announce the results later.

  • College identity card.
  • Three sets of updated Resume, Photocopies of mark sheets and other certification if any.
  • 2 recent passport size photographs.
  • Internship are given by companies to allow students gain some work experience related to his / her field of specialization
  • b. Internship provides an opportunity to students to experience real life work situation and hence serve as a stepping stone to a corporate career. At the same time it also allows the company to evaluate the student performance before deciding to make an offer. Internship properly done will also help to reduce/eliminate induction training period post joining.
  • The selection process for internship is similar to that of full time recruitment process and the selected students must join as per the company decision. However, final placements are based on the performance during the internship tenure.
  • Student who are selected only for internship are allowed for full time placement Company process (Internship cum placement will not be allowed for full time placement)

No. Most of the companies prefer candidates with an aggregate of 60% in 10th, 12th, UG / PG however criteria may differ based on company’s recruitment policy.

Yes, you are eligible to attend subsequent company’s process with the condition that you considered based on the company whichever declare the result earliest. If you are selected it is mandatory to take earliest offer.

  • Once a recruiter’s campus plan is confirmed, all eligible students will receive a mail from the PO stating to check the Placement Portal job post. The Job post will have all the details required for the respective student to give his/her confirmation that he/she is willing to participate in the respective campus placements.
  • All students who thus confirm their willingness must attend the respective campus recruitment without fail.
