Industrial Visit to Mother Dairy, Parparganj, Delhi
An industrial visit is a part of the educational tour, which provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods, and employment practices. An industrial visit to Mother Dairy, Parparganj, Delhi, was organized on April 22, 2023 and April 23, 2023 for Computer Science and Engineering Department students under the “ISTE students’ chapter” by SRM IST, DELHI NCR CAMPUS, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, UP., India. The students were accompanied by two faculty members – Dr. Niranjan Lal, Associate Professor (CSE) and Ms. Anita Rajkumari Assistant Professor (CSE). Students learn how milk is processed and how all of these were installed with a wireless GPS System to get alerts in case of emergency conditions. They took the students to a room where fully automatic human-operated cleaniser, homogeniser and pasteuriser machines were present.
The students of the Computer Science & Engineering SRM-IST went on an industrial visit to IoT India Expo 2023, 28-03-2023. The visit was coordinated by Dr. Reena Grover, Head Coordinator CWD. This visit was organized to provide students to enhance their theoretical Knowledge of IoT as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML). AI and ML throw light on the connection between these concepts and IoT or the Internet of Things. The future of technology depends on data and how this data is analyzed. The number of objects and devices connected to the internet has increased and so has the information being gathered by these devices.

An industrial visit to Bisleri, Ghaziabad, was organized on May 02, 2023 and May 03, 2023 for Computer Science and Engineering Department students under the “ISTE students’ chapter” by SRM IST, DELHI NCR CAMPUS, Modinagar, Ghaziabad, UP., India. The visit was coordinated by Dr. Anna Alphy, Assistant Professor (CSE) and Dr. Kanika Garg, Assistant Professor (CSE). Our students during their visit to the Bisleri Pvt Ltd Ghaziabad plant, got to know about the history of the brand; followed by a thoroughly detailed session about the processing and production of dairy products. The plant follows Bisleri Pvt Ltd Management System, an internal system developed to meet all process requirements based on National & International Standards.
