Campus recruitment is a strategy for sourcing, engaging, and hiring young talent for internships and entry-level positions. Mr. Shantanu Pant (General Manager), Mr. Gotam Gupta Assistant Front Office Manager, and Mr. Peeru (Portfolio Human Resources) of the Holiday Inn Express (IHG), Sector-50, Gurugram, came on May 23, 2023, for the campus recruitment and internship recruitment for the Hotel Management students, in which they have selected final year 9 students in different departments and 36 students for the internship at the Holiday Inn Express Gurugram, Bengluru, Ahmadabad, Chennai, and Nasik.

Mr. Khaja Ram Bhaduri (Director Human Resources) and Ms. Yasmita Upadhyaya (Assistant Training Manager), of The Lodhi Hotel, Pragati Vihar, New Delhi, came on May 26, 2023, for the campus recruitment and internship recruitment for the Hotel Management students, in which they selected 7 final-year students in different departments and 7 students for the internship at The Lodhi Hotel, Pragati Vihar, New Delhi.

SRM IHM STUDENTS WON THE AWARD IN DEEWAN IHM, MEERUT

SRM Institute of Hotel Management, Modinagar, is committed to creating potential leaders for an expanding hospitality industry who will be capable of competing for senior positions in a global market. SRM Institute of Catering Technology and Hotel Management students Mr. Rishabh Anant and Mr. Amit Bisht won the runner-up prize in Spilling Barrels, and Ms. Kashish won the appreciation prize in Towel Origami at an annual event named D’OASIS 2023 Pan India Fest Showcasing Culinary and Hospitality endeavours on March 18th, showcasing their talent in Deewan IHM, Meerut.

INTERNATIONAL CHEF'S DAY CELEBRATION

International Chef's Day was initiated in 2004 by Dr. Billy Gallagher. World chefs use the day to create awareness about healthy eating. SRM IHM celebrated International Chef’s Day on October 18, 2022, in which an inter-college competition was organised. Chef Sudhir Sibbal, a member of the IFCA Board and former vice president of ITDC, was the judge of the competition. Muskan Tyagi, Tanvi Sharma from the first year, and Md. Samar Naqvi won the first prize, and Komal from the third year and Diya Kansal from the first year won the runner-up prize. In the bakery competition, Sarware Alam and Md. Nasrul won in their first year.
