The Department of English and Foreign languages plays a unique and distinctive role in an institute. The Department imparts training to the students of various disciplines to meet the demands of global communication. It facilitates the students to enhance professional skills. The department offers undergraduate courses in English and Foreign Languages (German, Japanese and French) Communicative English, Professional Ethics and Indian Traditional Knowledge to the College students. The courses are designed to allow students to get credit for a language course and meet future professionals’ linguistic requirements.

The Department supports and motivates the students to actively participate and show their art of skill in presentation. The Department is equipped with good Language lab to impart proficiency in English language. We have dedicated faculty members who render an eminent service in bringing up an insight to the students in all aspects.

The Department has also established itself as a hub for research in language, literature, and interdisciplinary studies. The department has some of the most notable English language and literature professors, academicians, and critics, each of whom has left an everlasting impression on students throughout generations.
