Reminiscing the indomitable spirit of our freedom fighters SRM Institute of Science and Technology Delhi NCR Campus celebrated 77th Independence Day, with great grandeur, boundless enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August 2023.
The celebrations commenced with Flag March and chanting Jai Hind, Vande Matram and Bharat Mata ki Jai. The flag march was followed by the Flag Hoisting and National Anthem by the The Director Dr. S. Viswanathan and the Chief Guest Maj Gen Sharad Kapur, YSM, SM, Director General Resettlement Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Govt. of India.
The Chief Guest of the event Maj Gen Sharad Kapur thanked and appreciated the team for such a grand celebrations commemorating the sacrifices of freedom fighters, armed forces and police men. Maj Gen Kapur ignited the minds of students to challenge their capabilities to carve their unique success story.
