The curriculum at the Department has been created to provide a flexible undergraduate educational experience that focuses on aspects of engineering in design, mathematics, modeling, computing, management, engineering sciences, humanities, social sciences as well as fine arts.

This broad and flexible curriculum allows our students to customize the program to suit their objectives and pursue their particular career goals.

Mechanical Engineers have a broad spectrum of opportunities with some of the well-known industrial giants in the fields of energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, steel, automotive, robotics and information technology. Some of the better-known giants of industry who regularly gain from the skills of our students are Rexroth Bosch Group, Saint-Gobain Corporation, Hyundai, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra, etc. Most IT giants who run CAD/CIM divisions, also flock to our campus placement fests to recruit some of the best students for senior positions.

Our faculty, staff and students constantly aim to contribute positively towards the socio-economic growth of our nation. It is a pleasure to work with such a cooperative team of inspired human beings who aim every day to make the world a better place, bit by bit.
