Guest talk Bharatiya Gyan Parampara at SRMIST Delhi-NCR Campus was organized on 26th August 2025. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the worship of Goddess Saraswati by the Dean IQAC of SRMIST NCR, The Dean Science & Humanities and the HoD LCS with the efficient and prolific staff members of the institute. The Chief Guests of the program Professor Om Parkash Pandey, (Former Scientific Advisor to the Prime Minister) Government of presented his ideas on Bhartiya Gyan Parampara (Indian Knowledge Tradition) is a vast and ancient system of wisdom rooted in the Vedas, Upanishads, and classical texts. It encompasses diverse fields like philosophy, mathematics, astronomy, medicine (Ayurveda), yoga, and ethics. This tradition emphasizes holistic learning, harmony with nature, self-realization, and the pursuit of truth (satya). Passed down through generations, it continues to inspire modern thought and global knowledge systems. This initiative seeks to promote knowledge diversity, preserve cultural heritage, and honour the Indian knowledge systems that have profoundly shaped our identities.
